See what our Members of Parliament, Bob Katter, Robbie Katter, Shane Knuth and Nick Dametto got up to this week.
Nick Dametto, State Member for Hinchinbrook

– Attended the Rollingstone & District Seniors’ Inc’s  Biggest Morning Tea on Wednesday to help raise money for the Cancer Council.

– Celebrated the opening of Townsville Hospital’s new $8 million Children’s Ward on Thursday and;

– Met with legal eagles at Townsville Community Legal Service’s morning tea event today

Robbie Katter, State Member for Traeger

– Robbie spent last weekend in Hughenden, attending the annual Hughenden Races and officially opening of the new Steward’s Tower. He also visited the Hughenden Kindergarten and toured the construction work going on at the Kennedy Energy Park, which is a world first wind, solar and storage facility located in the Flinders Shire.

– During the week he was back home in Mount Isa meeting with constituents on a range of issues and discussing opportunities for the region.

– This weekend he will suit up to attend the Casa Grande, which is the biggest ball event for the year in Mount Isa.  Funds raised from the night go back into assisting the community.
