Fraser Anning, Senator for Queensland

  • Senator Fraser Anning attended a rally against the so-called “safe schools” program with Wendy Francis from the Australian Christian Lobby.
  • Senator Fraser Anning while in Sydney was able to send some time campaigning with KAP Candidate for Wentworth, Robert Callanan

Bob Katter, Federal Member for Kennedy

  • Bob attended a large meeting in Charters Towers this week with grazier Jimmy Petersen in support of defence land (formerly known as Dotswood Station) becoming open to summer grazing after urging the Minister for defence, Christopher Pyne to agree to his request to help drought-stricken farmers.
  • Bob will be in Ravenswood Rush on Saturday – celebrating the historical significance of Ravenswood. The local community are unveiling a mosaic chair in celebration of 150 years of gold mining. Bob’s Great Grandfather sold clothes out of a wagon in Ravenswood, before moving on to a shop in Charters Towers.

  • Proud as lunch about his Chief is Staff’s epic swim
  • At home in CT and front page of the local paper Re Cattle plus in the paper urging the PM to build a dam and not just talk about it – HIPCO/Koppen is ready to go
  • Spoke to Dobbo on Qld rural radio about the Royal Commission – Bob has been a champion for victims of unethical banking practices and will continue to fight for them – desperately wants a Reconstruction Board
  • Nominations for Round 4 Mobile Black spot  program open – contact Bob’s office

 

Robbie Katter, State Member for Traeger

  • Following the long weekend, Tuesday and Wednesday involved catching up on electorate office business, meeting with constituents in Mount Isa and planning for the weeks ahead
  • Robbie attended the Cloncurry Drought Forum on Thursday, followed by meetings in the town and the 30th anniversary celebration of John Flynn Place
  • On Friday he was in Doomadgee for various meetings.

Nick Dametto, State Member for Hinchinbrook

  • Attended the Austcham Roadshow on Tuesday, highlighting the strong business relationship between Australia and Singapore.
  • Mingled with residents at Palms Aged Care facility in Ingham on Tuesday.
  • Held meetings with local constituents throughout the week to assist with their concerns
